That was the one game after the trade deadline that I honestly cared about - the one I wanted to see a win in.

Great game and excellent sendoff for Kiprusoff, should it be his last game. A pretty much lost it during that standing ovation.

Probably the most emotional game I've seen since in ages.

This is all on Sportsnet Flames too. Just pathetic.

Really hope the Flames up a vid of Kipper's post-game ovation on their site.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Rob Kerr needs to muscle up and fix the meaningless coverage....TV muted and Fan960 streaming.

Truly mind blowing between the cut during the team salute and the Coilers coverage on the Flames channel... I'd take a SD shaw feed broadcast over this hot garbage that Sportsnet keeps feeding us.

I've said it before, Backlund plays with more emotion than anyone on the Flames. He has no business fighting, but after Lovejoy dirtied Glencross he goes after him. Love it. The Flames need Backlund moving forward.

Good to see Kipper sent off right. Was worried a few weeks ago that his last game would have him on the wrong side of a blowout. I do think he'd could still play a big part next year if willing.

Amazingly the Flames are now 5-2 coming down the stretch. Disappointing for those of us watching the draft sweepstakes. If the pick keeps sinking and Kipper retires, could be a long tough season next year.

Man, how badly has Calgary needed a youth injection. Great to watch this team now.

And for all draft watchers, Monohan and Lindholm will be great players who have first line center potential.

Wow, Millions is usually a good interviewer but he really blew that one. Possibly the last game of 9 years here and half of it is devoted to the Ducks. Wtf man.

Kipper might not have officially announced his retirement, but if he wants to go out in a flames uniform on a high note this would be it. I doubt with a rebuild team in the next year or 2, he will be able to go out with 2 home game wins to end it.
