I dunno, I think Backlund will be a reasonable player for the flames down the line.

If we go on a god damn winning streak now and lose out on a top 5 draft pick, that'll be so ######ed. Like FFS Flames, you had all season to put wins together and compete for the playoffs.
Then the organization reacts to your inability to win games, blows up the team, puts you in a position to get the best draft pick in Flames history in an awesome draft year, and you're going to go out and start wininng games now??! F right off.

I think they will go with the call on the ice.
I think the defenseman actually put it off Burrows but too tough to see.
It wasn't nearly as clear as the ref tried to make it though.
