Mac was looking down at the ice all the time, never really celebrated the win. Also looked like Sven asked him if he's allright?

You know your bad when you lose to the Flames without their best player in the line-up. Why is Stajan always susceptible to getting run? I didn't see the Bordeleau hit, was it dirty?

These teams are embarrassing.
The Avs have last locked up now. I think we'll finish 3rd. Tampa and Carolina have too much talent to be in the bottom three and we could lose every single last game until the end of the year just by looking at the rest of our schedule. The Panthers will likely be below us eventually. I'm fine with the 3rd/4th pick. One of Drouin/Mackinnon/Bakrov would be huge for the future.

I wonder if Joe Sacco will ever get another NHL head coaching gig? I tend to think not.

Close your eyes and say my name and I'll take you far away. To a place where you and I can be.. without everyone to say, na na na na na na.. and I'll take you far away.

Only spme maniacal fans think that losing is better than winning...ever.

Anyone saying the Avs "tanked" this game more than any other are delusional....that is a very bad hockey team that has 11 regulation or OT wins all year...only Florida has been worse.

Im quite glad that Calgary won this one and has played well since the Oiler debacle....I like seeing my team win more than lose every time they hit the ice, regardless of circumstance.

We might not win another game the rest of the season looking at the schedule.

You do realize that nobody is actually mad and just having fun right? Shooting for 30th is pretty much the only thing we have right now.

I'm good with the win.....fun to see the kids play and not worried that we will go 10-0 down the stretch run. Jones-ing for a goal by #47 though.

I am not mad they won just frustrated that they played like garbage and got points against a team in the running fir last.

If you are going to play like crap might as well benefit from a good draft pick.

how about all the good play by the young guys tonight? Backlund and Sven looked great out there...there is more to these last games than just a draft pick

I am pretty curious about what was going on with MacDonald at the end of the game there. Looked like he wanted no part of the post game celebration.

Does it matter? The last place team only get a 25% of winning the draft lottery, the 2nd-last team still get 18%. Given it is the Flames, they will end up with the 2nd pick regardless. Also given the Flames' luck, even if they get the 1st overall pick, they will end up with a giant bust that makes Alexandre Daigle looks like a genius pick...
