It's pretty obvious that the NHL really only cares about 15 teams, the rest (including the flames) are just seen as nothing but opponents for the "important" teams.

I think Flames will need McGrattan back next season. At any rate, I don't think there are too many people complaining about him in the lineup.

As for Bieksa... he is a coward. Yeah, he fights.. but just go to hockeyfights.com and look at his fight history. He definitely picks his fights. I can't stand him... still remember his stupid remarks after the riot concerning his landlord, when he made that comment that he should have told the rioters where his landlord lived. #####bag for sure.

I haven't heard about any disciplinary review... looks like he got off scott-free. I thought it was worth a look. Even if there was no suspension, at least put him at risk for a repeat-offender status.

It really seems like 'Sheriff' Shanahan has crawled into a hole this season, after laying down the law last year from the get go.

I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of supplementary discipline on either of the two head shots on Stajan this season (Coyle and Bieksa). And now it appears Stajan is finally suffering the after effects of yet another instance of exactly what the league is trying to abolish, with s### all being done about it. I do feel for the guy..

While true, Stajan seems to be on the recieving end of big hits more than any player in recent memory since Chuck Kobasew.
