Jesus H what do you expect here man?

Feaster to win all possible quality trades for the Flames. Who the poop are we going to trade for Ben Bishop (who is also an unproven goalie btw)? A decent pick in 2014? Glencross?

I'll tell you right now it likely won't get done for our spare parts.

FFS Cory Conacher....steep price for the Lightning. Conacher has struggled as of late but that is not a surprise for a rookie.

Guess the asking price likely was Glencross straight up, happy the Flames didn't pay that.

Yzerman should stick to being Team Canada's GM.

Isn't it too early to give up on Lindback? Regardless, nice job, Mr. Murray. That's a great deal for Ottawa.

Conacher has been a nice surprise for the Bolts, but they have plenty of scoring to be able to sacrifice some for a good goalie

Sens certainly needed some offence

Funny how quick Yzerman was defended for acquiring Lindback, talking about how they now have two options that could work out.

They would be raking Feaster over the coals for the exact same thing.

Is it me or has Murray just done an outstanding job over the past three years? It seems like he's come out of nearly every single trade as a winner and in a few of them big time winner. Guy is on fire.

Well, at least Feaster has some company for biggest fleece job of the season.

Murray just robbed Yzerman blind.

I think this is a good hockey trade. Filled a need on either team, although I'm a little surprised that with the 4th being thrown in Bishop clearly held more value to TB than Conacher did to OTT.

Well Calgary had nothing to match trading Conacher. Would we have wanted to trade Sven or our own first? I am sure Ottawa would rather have Conacher instead of the first we got from Pittsburgh or St. Louis.

Maybe Backlund might have got it done, but Conacher seems to be better than him right now, so that might not have worked either. They probably would have wanted Backlund and the Pens pick in return.

Dang, that is a hell of a return.

Connacher is still the rookie goal leader no? Great grab for Ottawa. Really bolsters their second line. And the 4th is icing on the cake.

Tampa has spent a lot on goalies in two years.

The goalie market seems really deep heading into the summer, that may well seem to be a very steep price in hindsight.
