A reminder of why it would be so hard to see Iginla (and kipper) move on, but this is likely going to be the only time in Iggy's career where he will have a chance to make a late season decision to move to a contender. As a free agent he may sign with a team he thinks will contend, but by utilizing an ntc he can direct himself to a team he knows to be in contention that year.
Would hate to see him go, but hope this was Iginla's last game as a Flame. Would be a shame to have him sitting on a sofa in May. He belongs on the ice when the cup is in the balance.
That Iggy goal brought back some wcked memories of his dominance over the years. Was nice to see. Cervenkas goals were both awesome. Kipper pulled out some vintage saves tonight too. Glad for the win and will be glad that it all doesnt end on a sour loss.
Ive never felt sick to my stomach after a Flames win... I dont know if I can handle this.
He just means too much to this team, the city, the fan base and my family. 1 high five for every flames goal, 3 high-fives when Jarome scores.
Thank you Jarome!

I realize nothing has been decided yet, only rumors however likely. But despite the fact that I am firmly in the camp that Iggy needs to be moved, I'm tearing up at the thought of him in any other uniform. This game reminded me of how much he really does mean to this team, and this fanbase.

Didn't get to watch much of the game - my kids Timbits team was the first period intermission (I swear people were cheering more for the Timbits than the Flames).
Was great fun, even managing a dozen kids in the PL seating area. Kids were all having a blast though.
I have 200 level seats, and it is amazing how much louder the Press Level seating is.
Location: Wondering when # became hashtag and not a number sign.

Somewhere EddyBeers is stroking out....flames win with Iginla getting the winner? LOL
But to the point, Flames were probably lucky to pull that out as they were outplayed most of the game....but a win is a win and I will take them over any other result everyday of the week.
