I am on board with having no captain next season and let it all play out after. I just do not see wny player on the team right now that can carry that mantle yet. A case could be made for Hudler with his DET pedigree, but I wouldn't be surpirsed if they gave it to a good kid like Brodie either.

I'd like to see more fire from Gio. I remember last season thinking he'd be a good fit. I'm not so sure now.. but here's hoping he regains form and with that confidence can start being a dominant force again.

I agree leaving it for the rest of the year would be a good choice considering how big of a hole Iggy would leave. Of those left, they seem to all be good assistant captain material. Of those, Glencross would be my choice followed by maybe Camallerri.
