Wow watch the Pens Boston highlights, you can sure see the difference between Hall and Seguin in the goal Tyler gets. Hall would have just shovelled it into the keeper or missed the net. Seguin is a sneaky hard working player with sick skill.

This is a bit myth. The kid is 17, considering his size at that age itīs no big suprise that skating is lacking a bit. I would think he just needs a year or two without gaining a lot of weight/height and the skating will catch up.

Though I think we will ultimately land outside of the top 5 (just barely), we'll be close.
Right now we're in contention for Drouin and Barkov. I can be happy with that.

Okey, Washington is on 21 points when the Flames are on 22 points, and Flames only have 1 game in hand, lol.

I'll never cheer for the Flames to lose. But at this point, I'm at an all-time low with this team. All I want is for the Flames to go balls to the wall every single shift. Then, if they lose, oh well.
I just want them to give a full effort every night. Win or lose. If they win, cool. If they lose, cool I'll be happy to welcome a lottery pick to the team.

Would the flames be in the playoffs if they played in the east right now?

Well that was quite a night on the OOT. Let's deal with the 3 SHUTOUTS on the night all by the road teams and by the same score of 4-0. Now that's bizarre. First it was the Hurricanes over the Capitals, Justin Peters with the 26 save win and Riley Nash with 2 goals. Then it was the Predators over the Stars. Pekka Rinne looked like the Vezina calibre goalie we're used to with a 32 save performance. The strangest was the Oilers beating the Avs. It makes no sense, the Avs were playing well before this game and Dubnyk I thought was injured and had not been playing well and then stops 36 shots. Thanks for nothing Avs. On with the other games, the BJs keep their unbeaten reg time streak as the Canucks won 2-1 in the SO. It's amazing Loserongo stopped all 3 SO attempts. The Ducks just keep on flying as they beat the Wild 2-1 in reg time. Perry got a major interference penalty and game misconduct, it was a vicious check. The Blues win 4-2 over the Sharkies, Jake Allen was in net for the Blues victory. The Coyotes win 5-2 over the Kings. The best game was the Bruins-Penguins and it was on national TV in Canada and USA. Bruins up 2-0 since the 1st period and the Penguins strike with 3 goals in just over 3 minutes late in the 3rd period. The game is repeated on NHL Network Wed. morning at 1000h, well worth watching again. The Lightning win 3-2 over the Panthers in the battle of Florida. The Panthers outshot the Bolts 39-13 but Lindback was awesome in goal. The Jets beat the Leafs 5-2, Rimer was pulled after 4 goals. The Sabres won 3-1 over the Rangers and Coach Torterella was mighty pissed in his post game comments. It was pretty funny to watch and listen to.

No. 8th is 3 games over 500 in both conferences. There wouldn't be as many teams to pass, but it would probably take close to the same record to get in.
