They would be nicer still if they were the same purple as they were in the olden days, now they are nearly navy.

I expect the Flames to win and that we will be buyers at the deadline.
Probably trade some picks or prospects for some ufas or some middling centremen.
If we bail more water, we can save the ship!!!

This upsets me more than the 04/05 and 2012 lockouts combined

The comment or the fact that we'll be buyers from now until the deadline and cruise into that ever so comfy 9th spot?

Man, I don't get why you follow this team. Every thread I click on where you post is just a big dump on the team.

How can we not win this game?
Thought Macdonald should have started the last one though.
We win a close one 9-3.

Blow out loss = Crazy next day of rampaging fans and media gathering at Saddledome calling for heads to roll
Close loss = "Hey we stayed in it until OT, there's still hope" Feaster still stands pat.
OT win = "We beat the champs! the season is saved! we have a chance!"
Blow out win = "L.A didn't even show up, WTF? Why wouldn't they show up?"
At this point, I think it's hard for most fans to have optimism for this season to be saved.
And even harder to sit and watch the team as it is now to play out the rest of the season.
But if keeping this team together for the rest of the year means grabbing Barkov or MacKinnon or whoever at the draft, then so be it. If we're going to suck with or without Iggy, let it be with and everyone can be happy.
The blow it people will get their first top five pick ever, the Iggy lovers get to see him get grey in a Flames Jersey and the Optimists can still hold out hope for this roster.
This really is a perfect **** storm for fans this year.

Flames will get destroyed by a bigger better stronger and better coached la team 1-0, and they will pat themselves on the back saying well we played well for a few minutes.

Flames won´t win this on their own, sadly. Only way to even have a chance is if the Kings don´t show up.

I'm posting what I think about the team. I'm always going to follow this team and I always have. I think they're crappy right now (like most people do) and I think they're being run by idiots (like most people do). I've been posting negative things about the team because lets face it, they've been a pretty bad team for a while. I didn't say they'd lose the last game agains the Kings and I don't think they'll lose every game for the rest of the year but I don't think they'll do well. I "dump" on this team because lets face it, they aren't good right now.

Wow some of the comments regaurding Sutter are crap, Sutter built tough teams and Feaster turned this team into a bunch of P**S**S open your eyes this team now has Feaster all over it from coach to players. This team sucks because of feaster we dont play in the East were you can play small and run and gun and the last few games proved it enjoy an other a**wooping tonight the Kings take it 5-1.
After tonights loss Iginla will be headed to the Kings or Pens by weeks end.
Kipper to Philly at the dead line.

Kings win 4-2. After this game we become the sacrificial lamb of the Western Conference.
Flames also outshoot Kings 88-29 but in typical Flames fashion, out of the 88 shots fired, only 23 hit the net.

Sounding like MacDonald starts tonight with Sarich replacing Smith on the #Flames blueline in LA tonight. No Glencross again.

Regardless of how the teams are built we still sucked. Darryl's big bad boys along the walls got exposed and now feaster with a small skill team with no team speed is getting exposed. Darryl effed us and was canned.
It's time we get away from Darryl and feaster and get someone brand new, with a fresh outlook.

The Kings are going to run Calgary through the boards after the Flames tried to mix things up last game when the score was out of hand.
LA just wanted to get the game over with, now I'm sure they will want a big of revenge.
