Only 11 games to the deadline. We play the 2nd Oilers game on the 3rd of April.

If Columbus keeps playing the way that they have and Nashville wakes up the record is going to be something like 4-8.
Flames will go 6-6-0, just what a .500 team does. Some very winnable games in this stretch and the Flames have enough talent to win, just no semblance of a real team to beat other real teams. Our record puts us well out of a playoff spot.

That being said, I have no idea what management will do in that scenario.
I wonder about the bolded part also. If the flames somehow win the next 2 games, I could see the flames management trading for help right away to try and make playoffs. I really believe that Feasters job is on the line.

5-5-2 seems realistic, 9-2-1 is about what we'd need to be in playoff position though.

5-5-2

With 3-4 wins at the end and Feaster saying this team is coming together right now and that they owe it to the guys to see where they can go with the current roster.

Makes a deal of a 3rd for a Jamal Mayers type and Jones for an AHL scrub to add "grit" for the play-offs.

I keep looking for the No Thanks button. I'm afraid you are closer to being right which is why I'm looking for the No Thanks Button.

I bet that LA game was like the Boston 9-0. The wake-up call.

Flames will get five wins out of that stretch. And I believe I am being hopeful here. Flames just keep drowning in goals against for the rest of the season. They'd have to be the highest scoring team in the league to get into the playoffs.
