I had a couple of different lines I wanted to see:
Shanahan - Lemieux - Bossy
Bourque - Stevens
Roy
Robitaille - Yzerman - Neely
Chelios - MacInnis
Roy
However, those lines don't consist of my favorite players, so:
Lemieux - Nieuwendyk - Iginla
MacInnis - Suter
Kiprusoff
No matter the parameters you use to limit how you chose your top line, its still fun to put together dream lines and combos.
Can you imagine something like:
Good skill but also super tough and agressive
Shanahan - Lindros - Neely
Chelios - Stevens
Hextall
top three points per game forwards along with the top two points per game defenseman and the top scoring goalie too.
Gretzky - Lemieux - Bossy
Orr - Coffey
Brodeur
I love doing stuff like this. I used to have Hockey League Simulator for PC back in the early 90s, and I would have countless different scenarios that I would play out.
