The idea of drinking a coke in the morning makes me sick.

Anything carbonated of that matter.

I usually have either a cup of coffee or a latte once a day. Very rarely will I have more than one, but let's say once a week it does happen. So 7-9 cups of coffee or latte drinks a week.

Throw in a few soft drinks a week and I'm sufficiently addicted to caffeine. It started out slow, and I used to be able to go without it with no side effects.

Now, if I don't have a cup of coffee in the morning I'm irritable. If I go more than 36 hours I get pretty intense headaches that don't subside for another 36 hours and I need a few naps.

It makes me function a lot better; I hate the feeling of being addicted to it, but I know I am. At the rate I drink it I don't think it's detrimental to my health, so stopping doesn't seem reasonable to me. If I start to get up to 2-3 cups a day maybe I'll re-assess my position.

None, likely allergic. I would shake and sweat if I had a cup of coffee.

I was at the point where I was pounding back 7 or 8 big cups a day. Then my heart beat went all wonky. Gave it up cold turkey, and have a couple cups of tea a day instead, and man do I feel better.

Every time I am at our coffee machine getting my hot water now I cannot resist saying in a bad Patrick Stewart accent "Tea, Earl grey, Hot."

I drink about 2 cups, sometimes 3. Lately more like 3. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and sometimes another if I'm really tired.

I'm addicted to it, but I love it too much to try to quit.

I drink tea, Tetley. It varies between two to five cups a day.

Looks like anything more than 3 to 4 Cups a day could be unhealthy.

I used to be a 2-3 cans (minimum) Diet Pepsi/Pepsi Max guy, but have been off it since I finished school last year, it was really starting to wreck my teeth.

Now, I have some iced herbal or green tea daily. Depending on the type, it is about equiv caffeine to about 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of coffee by my totally uneducated estimate. When I am at work but didn't have time to put something together in the morning I have some Arizona Iced Tea packets that I use.

1 espresso shot in the morning (made into a half a cup or so)

XL Timmies -or- 3-4 cups of the disugsting swill from our work machine.

Can of Mountain Dew for lunch

2 more cups of the disgusting swill from our work machine.

Caffeine does help with the dullness and lack of energy after 3PM till quitting time. I started drinking coffee because of that and now I'm doing the same thing at 9:30 in the morning to get a boost till dinner.

The health benefits of a cup or two per day are worth it.

Never enjoyed the taste of coffee. I can't even eat chocolates that tastes like coffee.

One cup in the morning and one early afternoon. If I don't get both I start going into withdrawal and getting headaches. I try not to drink more than that so my dependency doesn't get any worse than it already is.

I love coffee so much, but had to give it up. It makes me poop. Every now and again I'll treat myself to an Americano on the weekend.

Back in my investment banking days working 100 hour work weeks it was bad. I probably averaged around six to eight large cups a day. Now that I am back to normal hours I have one and a half cups first thing in the morning. I take my time to grind the whole beans and use a French press to brew, my morning isn’t complete without it.

Squirting out double-shots of liquid hot magma is not a good thing.
