Bad game.

Like I said in the GDT, lots of injuries, including your number one goalie, and you're playing one of the top teams in the league at home. We didn't have a good chance tonight, and they beat us accordingly.

Not a big deal, odds were stacked against us, it's just one of those games where they get it out of their heads right away and prepare for the next game.

Move on and get ready for Monday.

2 wins out of 3 on this road trip, so not terrible at all. I didn't have a good feeling about tonight's game anyways.

Sure they have injuries, but they could have at least kept the momentum up from first period.

I thought Iginla tried but that's not really good enough at this point...with the mounting injuries the Flames will really need him to start scoring. He threw one big hit, so I guess that's a positive. Being saddled with Glencross isn't helping; I think those two are much better without each other.

Tanguay has good games and bad and this was one of the later.

Brodie was good. Smith was a giveaway machine. Bouwmeester was back to his usual. Giordano needs to turn it around. Wideman was solid.

Cervenka looked awful; I am watching him closely and he has no idea what to do in the defensive zone. He really is not up to NHL standards as far as game shape and skating. His hands are what have saved him thus far.

Hudler had a bad game. Street was clearly out of his league.

Jones was very good. Jackman continues to serve no purpose as the most he did was pretend to start something in a scrum.

Irving was alright...some big saves early but overall he seemed pretty shaky.

Sleeping pills should be given to the Flames on their flight back so they can sleep and forget about a stinker.

Would be nice if they can warn us of a no show game. I can then spend my Sat. night with something fun, not watching this BS

Was it just me, or did I hardly see Iggy/Tanguay/Glencross in the third?

Like, benched I mean.

I really hope the coaching staff is not like this after a loss. They need to get angry, not this ho-hum we lost oh well the refs were bad injuries one of those games no big deal.

One last thing for tonight. The Hudler-Street-Cervenka combo was god awful tonight, Street really looked out of his league. Hope we bring someone else up for Monday's game, Byron or Horak most likely.

But, the whole of the Flames team suck tonight, with the exception of Brodie.

Biggest coaching mistake tonight, imo, was changing up our best line in Cervenka-Stajan-Hudler, and throwing a rookie playing his first NHL game in to centre that line.

Not that it likely would have saved us from the loss, but still a silly decision if you ask me.

He is embarrassing for a National Broadcast. I tried to pay attention to how often he spoke about Calgary in a positive light. It only happened when Craig Simpson brought them up in a positive context and even then it was like chewing gravel for Hughson.

Games like that make me wish we had someone like Tootoo on our team.

Tanguay was definitely benched, Iginla and Glencross were playing with Stajan. Think I saw Tanguay out there for maybe 2 shifts in the third.

Iggy played very little in the 3rd. I was worried he was hurt, but he did take the odd shift.

Yeah Street shouldn't have been with Hudler and Cervenka as long as he was. Pretty clear it wasn't working. Stajan should have been moved up. Want to see Street for a couple more games. Hard to judge him in a game where no one looked good.

Comeau... despite the assist he is awful. He is an adequate PKer, but plays die on his stick and anytime he gets the puck in the offensive zone a turnover is imminent.

I would say Cervenka is a long ways away from being tried at center.

Not only that it's the timing of the goals. Like the 1st one he let in in Columbus 25 seconds after our opening goal. just deflates the whole team.

He should have had that 2nd goal. instead the Canucks go up 27 seconds after tying it and all the air went out of the Flames from there.
