All square going into the third. How long before the Wings get their extended two-man advantage and/or phantom five-minute major?

Honest question........does anyone know how many even strength goals the Oilers have this year? It can't be too many.

They have 9 at full-strength, but 2 of those were 6-on-5 with the goalie pulled, so only 7 5-on-5 goals.

Going into today's game...9 G 5 on 5, 0 4 on 4. (Tampa and Chicago both have 28)
PP...5 on 4, 9, 4 on 4, 23, 4 on 3, 1.
1SH goal.

So tied for 1st for total PP goals (actually maybe ahead after today's goal), dead last in the league for 5 on 5/ES goals.

It isn't. They are dead last for even strength goals. http://www.nhl.com/ice/teamstats.htm...wName=goalsFor

I looked on NHL.com, all they show is the 5 on 5 goals for/against ratio, and Edmonton is second worst in the league, barely ahead of Florida.

Unless they feel their PP will carry them all the way to the playoffs they are eventually going to be in deep trouble.

The Oilers also have one of the worst shots for/against ratios in the league.

They do not carry the play at all unless they are on the PP.

They are still a very crappy hockey team.

Like I said earlier, hopefully their goaltending holds up for a while or they will be drafting very high again.
