This is not a bad team, bad teams don't dominate the Chicago Blackhawks like that.

So stop saying bad team!

2 straight games the Flames play a tired team who are on the 2nd of a back-to-back, and they come away with a single point

that #1 draft pick is starting to look better and better

The Hockey gods hate us

Should have been 8-1 Flames, or something in that ball park.

We crushed them in every facet of the game except the goddamn shootout.

No doubt in my mind the flames deserved to win this game. Flames didn't make the most of their chances and got very unlucky hitting 2-3+ crossbars/posts.

If you don't bury your chances against a team as skilled as Chicago they'll make you pay and that's exactly what they did tonight.

1-3-2 doesn't look very good

6 games in we need to be at 7 points to be on track for the playoffs. We got for. Need to go 5-1 over next 6 to get back on track or 8-3-1 over our next 12.

The thing is if we had just won againts colorado like we should have we would be in good shape but we really are pissing away points.

Bad teams dominate the entire game yet find a way to lose.

More games like that and Calgary will find themselves in the playoffs. Excellent effort.

2 points for Ray Emery.

Deserves got nothing to do with it. Couldn't finish and it cost them.

Great f'ing game, all I can say. Totally entertained, don't think I've yelled at my TV that much in a year, we will win a lot of games if we come in with this effort we have had the past 4 games.

The shootout lineup was correct.

Can't ask for anything more. This team will win a tonne of games.
I like your optimism.

Flames need 51 points in the final 42 games (25-16-1) to possibly grab 8th, that is pretty much the bottom line after playing 5 of the first 6 at home and getting 4 points in those six games. I am sure someone will point out it is too early in the season to be pointing out such numbers though.

1-3-2 looks fine, 42 more games to go!

There's no way I expected the Flames to play anywhere like this with a new system in 6 games.
And I'm a Hartley booster.

Kipper lets in another weak one faced a mere 17 shots and still costs us the game. The other goalie outplayed ours.

Can't let a scrub like Ray Emery dominate you like that.

This is going to be a very bad team.
