I think Stanford should feel the worse, they beat ND and should be the one in the game.

ND welcome to the bcs era and hopefully it's another 25 years before you get a shot you losers

nik-/PIMking: where do you you think Lacy goes in the draft? Scouts are saying he's the projected SIXTH running back in the draft. After seeing him in the SEC Championship and tonight he's just a monster. From my naked untrained eye, he must be higher than that? Could he go in the first round?

What are his weaknesses if any?

I'm not sure ND could beat the McMaster Marauders this evening.

Edit: that said if I was a ND fan I'd be Georgia superfan #1 right now. They have a slight chance against them maybe but against Bama? Shoot they wouldn't need to bother playing the game, just crown Bama now.
I guess I was being generous with a 14 point spread. Well it's not over yet, still time for ND to come to life.

He's really been a monster all year. After Ingram left I was worried they'd lost the battering ram, I felt the same after Richardson left, but every year someone just steps up. I think he's a second rounder if he goes this year, but he's a junior. If he stays and has another year like this, he'll be a first rounder. Also, by then I just can't even imagine what kind of back Yeldon is going to be.

Lacy's weakness might be his 40 time of 4.4+ ... but Richardson was slower, so who knows. Also, I'm not sure if Lacy has ever had to block because of that offensive line ... so maybe he doesn't even know how to do it?!!?

They never beat ND and at best would have tied them if the score that was held up had counted.

Way to go Stanford, you losers! Losing to these clowns and then beating Oregon, leaving the nation with this crap. Typical Stanford.

Their season was done (in term of the BCS title) when they lost to Washington. If they had beaten Notre Dame, we'd be watching Bama destroy the gators right now.

The announcers have moved on to talking about NFL coaching vacancies. Riveting.

I'm not sure but this is the first time all year and last year that he has been 100% this game only.

i would assume it is his speed and elusiveness. he gets a lot of big runs thanks to his line being so much bigger than anyone else and I have read concerns about him being able to make those yards without the big holes that he has opened for him in the pros.

Not so much his elusiveness, his cuts are pretty effective, at least at this level, but speed yeah.

Look at Ingram and Richardson in the NFL and Lacey isn't as good as them

I remember that discussion as well.

Here is what i posted and also led me to drop more than a few schillings on Bama.

ND's opposition thus far this season is a combined 65-44.

Navy, Perdue, BYU, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Wake Forest among them.

Easily the worst #1 team....maybe ever, but for sure in a long long time.

They have maybe 3 quality wins with perhaps one of the best of the year over OK.

So lets not pretend they are anything more than they are....very fortunate to be in the position they are because a lot of things have fallen in their favor. A very good defensive team with a mediocre to less than average offense who have always gotten more voter sympathy than they deserve, not that its their fault for that.
As it turns out, even the OK win wasnt as impressive as it seemed before the TAMU beat down.

Worst #1 team ever...and im not sure there is even a debate to be made.

Fair enough.

I haven't seen him enough to comment on his elusiveness just in the games I have seen he has had a lot of straight ahead holes to run through so I hadn't seen him miss a lot of defenders. But again that was based on limited viewing.
