Kids/parents these days are pussies. Its -4C...thats it. I remember going out in MUCH colder temps than this.

2 in Inglewood, but not really kids... at that age where they're more or less candy collectors in plain clothes.

We got 4 groups, 9 kids total in Oakridge. Seems like it is getting less and less every year, I remember when I was young enough to trick or treat and our neighbourhood had tons of kids running around.

6... Which is 6 more than last year, but I mm pretty sure 2-3 were from 2 doors down in our complex, and really only 2 costumes to speak of.

Eff it, next year we're doing full candy bars.

Maybe twenty in Sundance. Took the kids out and only about every fourth was passing out candy. Pretty lame.

I don't get it though - what do parents tell their kids? That they're not going?

Live in Heritage Pointe. Had close to 200 last year. This year 50, maybe. Guess the cold scared them away. Here's a question for ya. I'm I being a prick for not giving teenagers candy that don't have a costume. I mean come on. Give me a little something for the effort. I'm sure my house will get egged tonight.

For roughly the tenth year in a row, zero trick or treaters.

We live on an acreage southwest of the city and we buy candy just in case . . . . so, for the tenth year in a row, we'll have to eat that ourselves.

60 in Wildwood. Half as many last year. One little guy came up and when I gave him some candy, his father said, "What do you say?" and he said, "More".

Edgemont Estates. About 30 kids. Almost every house was open for buisness. One guy was giving out full size chocolate bars, a coke and a bag of chips. All the kids know about his house.
One of the neighbours was giving out go cups of Hot Chocolate to the parents!

Best Halloween ever.

Well where ever you live, that's where all the kids must have gone. I don't think I had more than 30 at my place on the Westside.

Doorbell rang a dozen times or so.

I was making dinner. Wife wasn't home so the door didn't open.
I'm basically Clint Eastwood in the first half of Gran Torino. Get off my lawn.

I'm surprised anyone knocked at all. I had the house in darkness except for the valence lighting in the kitchen so I didn't cut my fingers off.
I kept in the spirit of Halloween by listening to Type O Negative's rendition of Black Sabbath on repeat for an hour.

we only had around 25 in kelowna - it was a little rainy, but not bad weather by any stretch.

last year we had more, but 3 young families moved away over the past year and they had a bunch of kids.

it's weird - at our previous house (it was at the other end of the city) we'd get absolutely slammed. we'd buy enough for 250 kids and run out!
