Yup, found some database entries where the were sneakily appending a javascript tag into the ads, after a whole bunch of spaces so they didn't show up in the editors.

I'll have to upgrade the ad sever software.

I added those site URLs into the profanity filter just to be safe as well.

Not sure how much it had to do with anything, but ever since you disabled ads, and the malware ads, CP is loading MUCH faster for me.

The ad server might have been hacked, I think we were fortunate in that the URL being injected wasn't actually working, so that's why the Google page says no malware was detected, but the URL for the malware was still there.

I'll have to clean it out and then request Google to check again so they can remove the malware warning.
A CP hosted/run ad server was hacked, or a third party service?

Just curious because I've seen warnings on a couple different forums today that normally I don't.

I too keep getting the warning, but scanned the website URL just now on URLvoid and it says 100% safe with no Malware, so I am hoping that is indeed correct...

Reading some of the other threads, I'd say you're either too late or succeeded ahead of time.

I have seen this very marked improvement in speed too.

Hell, if there is that much difference between ad-supported CP and non-ad-supported CP, I think we should hold a fundraising drive to keep ads off the forum.

Just a thought.
