Not sure if it counts as a cameo, but definitely Michael J. Fox on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
.. and Vincent Price in any form of media.

I would consider Johnny Depp and the cast of 21 Jump Street showing up at the end of the remake as a pretty good cameo.

Jim Lovell in Apollo 13 : in a "blink and you'll miss it" role, he plays a US Navy officer who greets Tom Hanks and the rest of the crew when they land on the aircraft carrier.

I think TV cameos are allowed to be more involved and still considered cameos.
I know that they called Jack Blacks apperance in Community a cameo, and he was bascially the main plot device in the whole episode.

You are confusing guest appearance with cameo.

Do TV shows count? I like it whenever Jon Hamm or Justin Timberlake do surprise spots on SNL.

Yeah me too. It had me thinking that they would probably use that scene in the new Cap movie. It would probably be a great way to start it off.

Oh come on. We all knew it was coming. It was so obvious unless you have breasts and were there to see Channing Tatum.

From what I remember, at the time a lot of people complained about her even being nominated because it wasn't much more than a cameo appearance.
IIRC, it set the record for the least amount of screen time for any Supporting Actor/Actress Oscar winner.

Think that was an Emmy nomination for something, not an Oscar that people, herself included, didn't feel was deserved.
