I wasn't hurt by anyone and I don't hate women. If people posted on here more often about the evil things that men do I'd chime in on that too. It's just that it seems like whenever there's some horrible injustice committed against someone its usually done by a female hiding behind the justice system. Yeah, men will physically hurt people and occasionally steal material things, but they'll never betray your trust so horribly that you're left a shadow of your former self, living in your parents basement, wondering how somebody essentially robbed you of your life as you knew it - like the poor fella in this article. I'd be all up in arms if a man found some hussy, left his wife after cheating on her, stole her children from her and then tried to steal money right out of her pocket, but for some reason that just doesn't seem to happen very often. I wonder why? It couldn't possibly be that the attitude that women can do no wrong and are weak and need to be protected has effected how justice systems are structured and that women have been using it to their advantage in every civilized country in the world since they were given equal rights.

As for cheating in general... yeah there are a million reasons it happens, but not one single good one. If you want to do that crap, get out of the marriage first. I view cheaters (male and female) in the same light as pedophiles. Obviously pedophilia is worse, but both involve placing your own need for sexual gratification above the well being of others. Pedophiles and adulterers - they deserve neighbouring cell blocks in hell.

So, yeah.. feel good article.. would read again.

In the quote from the story, I don't know if "adjourning" means everyone went for lunch and a chat or if it means outright dismissal of her claim.

I heard of another guy who spent everything they had BEFORE separation/divorce on sporting equipment, etc, things she would never want/need, hoping to escape that way with things she'd just let him keep without valuing them. Not sure how that worked out for him.

Just an interesting legal riddle.

A former friend of mine went through a divorce back in the late 80's. They had agreed it would be a nice divorce and he decided to give her $5,000 to help get her started on her own. At the same time he let her stay in the mobile home they owned and he also paid the lot fees and the utilities while he rented an apartment.

A few months before the divorce was finalised he shows up at the mobile home and found that she had moved out and had taken with her all the furniture and appliances. He was irate because he signed that agreement a few weeks earlier to give her the $5,000. Out of revenge he sells the mobile home to another friend for a dollar and when the divorce proceedings came around he gave her 50 cents for half of the sale. She was fuming until he reminded her what she had done to him
