Duthie and Hedger doing the closing ceremonies is going to be a disaster.

Why are they already giving away some of the bands and acts who are rehearsing. It's supposed to be a surprise you dimwits. I want to get a kick out of seeing "name band here" appear. I don't want Closing Ceremony spoilers before the event!

Yeah totally. Duthie is good but he isn't that good. Hedger jumped the shark on tv after her lesbian makeup session on the Lofters.

I think they came in last. The guy who went first had a terrible leg and it was over after about 300 .

The thing is that even though it's a CTV Olympics.. it really was a TSN Olympics but the TSN guys just don't have the experience yet. CTV has 0 sports people. CBC also has good news people. In Bejing they used Diana Swain and Ian Hanomansing as hosts. I wonder why CTV didn't do that...Duthie + LaFlamme in Vancouver was decent... Duthie + Hedger was a disaster. Randorf and La Mae Doan was worse.

CBC has the experience and the guile for such events. This weekend watching CBC broadcast the Rogers Cup has been pretty good.

oh!

It was ruled that the Kenyan runner tripped the South African which caused the injury so they got DQ'd and South Africa got in!

Damnit. My opinion must be wrong since it seems to be the same as moon's. Crap.

Watching Harry sing the national anthem it struck me how odd it must be that you and everyone else are signing about your living grandmother.

Wonder if he sang that song as he was blasted at Cowboys trying to pick up a beer tub girl those many years back.

Man those jean jackets are tacky that the Canadians are wearing.

Mostly because of all the cheesy patches, which unless your in cub scouts, I've never seen worn by anyone that didn't get ridiculed.
