^ This is good news. That means that I should be receiving mine tomorrow. I have been a little concerned with my decision NOT to expedite, but your post is encouraging. I still have a week and a bit to spare.

Update: My wife's passport arrived yesterday, which was exactly two weeks after I submitted the renewal at the Harry Hays. Mine turned up today, so two weeks plus a day.

Good, quick service. And now I can travel to the US on Wednesday without using my other passport, which would have been a bit of a hassle (but still do-able).

My wife and I just renewed our passports at the South office. We were in line for less than 15 minutes. I was suprised at how quick it was.

Anyone been to either location recently for a passport renewal and have feedback on which location is better these days? Looking to go first thing (although I have heard this can be a mistake as everyone assumes this is the best time). Thanks.

Went to the south location in May and was in and out in 10 minutes (filled out the renewal form prior). They are not as busy now that 10 year passports exist. I heard the south location moved recently though.

Late last year I went to Harry Hayes around 11am on a weekday and it took me about an hour.

I renewed in December at Harry Hays and there was minimal wait.

Did this early in 2017 and was in and out in about 20 minutes or so. The days of the long lines are pretty much over. Yes, there are still a decent amount of people there, but they move you through pretty good.

I've used both locations and have never taken longer than 10-15 minutes. IIRC they stream you into two lines depending on if you have done the online application or done it by hand. The online wait was way faster (shorter)

I have never waited more than 30 minutes at the Fish Creek location.

I default to Harry Hays, because that's the only place you can arrange to pick it up if you like...

When was this? I was at the McLeod location about a month ago.

Apparently quite recently. I drove to FC on Monday and read the notice. Then went to the new place.

Well that sucks, pretty much makes it too far south to be useful for me now.

Really? It literally took 4 minutes to drive to the new place from the old one.

Haha, that's really not that far away.
