I'm not a lawyer or in any capacity to provide a professional opinion on that and I'm not suggesting you are not in compliance with securities regulations... but perhaps you should consult such a professional. Maybe you already have. That's fine. Just suggesting.

And I'm not trying to discredit or to provide a positive or negative opinion on your opportunity either.

I will pass this along to the lawyers but I don't think it was clear how the arrangement is made.

The company itself is not raising funds - it is simply a loan agreement between to private parties. For example, I have a few million to spare and am willing to loan it out to an individual at an agreed upon rate and secured by collateral. You are a potential investor that may find it difficult to get conventional financing and agree to the terms of the loan. A somewhat more mundane example would be my brother lending me $10k to buy a car and we make a legal loan agreement. If I fail to repay as per the schedule he gets the car.

The only involvement of the company is to have the lawyers draw up the contract. A quick example of something similar can be found:

I want to thank everybody for their contributions to this thread. I doubt I will be able to check it very much at all for the rest of the day in getting prepped for tomorrow.

The main thing we gathered from this is don't hold this kind of session one week after Stampede! Between many people on vacation and others doing the work they didn't do last week ()the turnout is going to be quite light (consisting of what current investors are in town and their guests).

Even if investing is not on the immediate horizon, the market structure and trends in the US are incredibly interesting.

Did you do a Ken King and start the meeting by asking anyone from CP to identify themselves? When everyone looked around for a hand that never gets raised, did you ask them to be kind in their review of the days' events?

Had I thought of it (and suspected that there were CPers in the crowd) I just might have!

Alas, the participants consisted of current investors as well as their personal invitees. It was not a surprising turn of events given the time of year and the low key way in which it was promoted.

With that said, there is at least one of the big groups doing one this week and I pretty much guarantee that it will be:

1. A free two hour seminar
2. Payment request for about 1k to attend a 3 day event
3. Payment request for about 15k to learn more/join group
