Looks like a a pretty young woman having fun - not unheard of - but it remains to be seen if there's a purpose behind the pictures, ala Paris Hilton, or if she's just a bit of an exhibitionist.

IMO she probably struck out at hollywood and is looking for attention the no-talent way like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Doesn't necessarily mean she is a slut, skank or anything as this could be just a young woman trying hard to be relevant in the public eye. People are making way to big of a deal of these photos. A few are obviously posed, but most are just her hanging out with her friends. She's rich and lives in a place where she can ride around on boats all day. Obviously there are going to be pictures of her drunk in a bathing suit. The average girl probably has comparable pics on facebook or at the very least does comparable things on the weekends at the club.

The only reason anyone cares is because:

1) she's Gretzky's daughter; and
2) she's hot.

People are freaking out and calling her "Paris Hilton" or a skank, because pictures of her with her friends by a pool or at a club have surfaced. The whole thing is pretty ridiculous. She's not doing anything that the average girl in her early 20s does these days.

Apparently we all missed the real reason she was in the news...

"Grown Ups" was an Adam Sandler movie in 2010 about five childhood friends who, well, grow up and reunite at a lake house after their youth basketball coach passes away. The movie was panned by critics but made a killing at the box office pulling in over $270 million worldwide.

According to a Sony spokesman, noted Internet celebrity Paulina Gretzky has been cast as a coed in the film's sequel set to be released in July of 2013. While on-set earlier this week the daughter of the Great One continued her streak of setting the Internet ablaze with her, uh, interesting photography:

After being known as an Internet "celebrity" for some time now, we can add "actress" to her resume; though it's still unsure if Ms. Gretzky will actually earn a name role for a change, or just "blonde in bikini."
