That's by far what pisses me off the most. Especially when it's not a huge stretch to assume the jumping on top of the car was the straw that broke the camel's back here and set the cab driver into get-out-of-here-at-all-cost mode.
I'm glad the Judge appears to be on the cab drivers side because from other articles I've read it sounds like the police were/are really out to get him, but that could just be the articles bias. Ideally neither should be for or against the guy but far better to have some sort of balance.
Edit: After watching the close up video, I'd side with the cabbie (if no new evidence surfaces). He may have made a poor decision in not leaving earlier but at that point, after having his car kicked, some guy trying aggressively to open his door and that ####en idiot jump on his roof, he looks like he just wanted to get out of there for fear of his own safety,
