I have to say the early results worry me. I thought the WRP would be doing better in the rural ridings.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, Albertans have a long history of talking about change then voting PC at the last minute. That said it's still pretty early.

If the rurals split its almost mathematically impossible for the Wildrose to win. I would also guess many of these results so far are from the cities though.

They'll likely pick up at least two more. Calgary-Buffalo (Hehr) and Calgary-Mountain View (Swann) have yet to report any results.
