I do have my 135i though. I have the Berger motorsports tuner box for it, and once I put it in, it boosts the thing to something ridiculous like 420 HP, and 400+ foot pounds. That is in early 2000's 996 turbo range.
yeah the 135i is pretty awesome in itself (and probably spanks the rx7 in many respects). I was pretty close to buying one myself last year...that thing reminds me of BMW's of old. I imagine the 1M is even better.
420hp though....can that car handle that kind of power?
They also have 2 new 2012 Stage 3 Roush Mustangs as well - one orange and one black, both super nice.
OMG, that is the tackiest dealer website ever. lol
Linda was flying all over my screen in front of the content I was trying to look at, trying to get me to chat with her. They seriously think this will bring customers in?

Agreed - I don't think there can be any more pop ups.

What is going to be real interesting to see is how cars like the Boss and the ZL1 respond to mods over the next couple years.
The 2005+ Mustang wasn't really a fast car until the 2011 model but as a whole it was highly modable...the 2010+ Camaro seems to take well to various modding efforts but in some ways the effects of that still remain to be seen...as for the ZL1 and Boss it will be interesting to see over the next little while...although those (especially the Laguna Seca) are so improved already for track performance many owners will probably just leave them stock.

That's like the California or whatever edition Mustang. They just 3M tape a bunch of crap to the side and call it a day. Any mod that involves 3M tape should be outlawed.

It's not just a visual mod though, the Laguna Seca Boss 302 is a track tuned Mustang - Upgraded suspension, chasis stiffening, Torsen rear diff, functional front splitter and other enhancements make it not just a set of decals.
The black and red looks much better than the grey does.

Yeah I know, but the California has a bunch of stickers and crap to ghey it up without any performance enhancements. Maybe it has 3.73s or something, but that's gearing you can get without buying a special edition.

One thing to mention, if you see a lot of a car... its probably a good sign. The reason you see more Mustangs than Camaros is because most buyers agree that the Mustang is a better driver car. The V6 is cheaper and drives better than the comparable V6 Camaro, ditto for the Stang.
It's also why there are more options for tuned Mustangs. GT500, Laguna Seca, Boss, Roush etc.
Yeah I've never understood the whole buy-an-inferior-product-just-to-be-different mentality. Buying it because you like it more is one thing, but if it's just to be different then IDK...

Or because from 2002-2009, no Camaros were made. The Camaro actually out-sells the Mustang right now.
The Camaro has added the ZL1 and the 2013 SS model will come with a 1LE performance package which basically adds what the Boss adds to the 5.0GT. Having a bunch of different "options" for your car doesn't necessarily mean you have a better car, it could also mean your base model is inferior and you feel the need to add different trim lines to satisfy the enthusiast. Basically it comes down to the $$$ at the end of the day, if a manufacturer feels that adding more options is going to bring more money in, it'll be done.

Totally agree, they are basically neck in neck with sales, i personally find i see a lot more Camaros (maybe its because they stand out more) than 5.0L mustangs.
On a sort of side note, should the Camaro be getting a facelift soon? I know its only been out a few years but the design dates back to pre-2005 when the first Transformers movie came out.
Mustang is gearing up for a redesign here in 2015 i think.

The 6th generation Camaro is supposed to come out at the end of 2015. Although the concept was introduced in the mid-2000s the first production year was actually 2010.
Rumour has it this Camaro 6 is going to include a twin-turbo V6, perhaps instead of the V8.
What will really be interesting is the 2014 Mustang...it will be the 50th anniversary model so you know Ford will have to give it their best shot. Can't wait to see what they come up with. Lots of concepts are already out there...a quick google search brings up some pretty out-there results:

It's weird how that works with cars, though. If you're looking for Camaros you'll see them everywhere. If you're looking for Mustangs, you'll see them everywhere. If you're looking for Chevrolet Spectrums, you'll see them everywhere.
