this thread made me realize how disgusting my desk is. I just found an Eatmore wrapper and I can't, for the life of me, remember the last time I ate an Eatmore.

I could not live without my second monitor. Even though it is only a 17", it is a life saver. You know when you leave the house without your phone? That's how I would feel if I didn't have this second monitor.
I have a single 24" at home, and although I hardly do any business work at home, it is a PITA. First world problems.

Sys admin, we are the monitoring guys for our IT company, we watch among many things our data center, our hosting/co-lo servers, cell phone network for the 2nd biggest provider in Iceland, our mainframe for the government agencies (green text matrix screen), as well as offer IT support for our clients. It would take a few paragraphs to go over everything, but thats mainly what we deal with most.
Its a great job to learn tons of things about all kinds of crap in the IT world, I get so many varied issues I have to solve that its great fun for me, but that means our department has 6 full time guys who have to cover 24/7 year round shifts.
Figure I´ll do this for another few years before settling into our net department (working on CCNA/NP) or maybe just sys admin for our linux/unix department which is sorely needing more people.
Now if we could just get those last 2 screens working, thats being worked on we just have no more outputs for the 2 computers, 1 computer has 8 screen from 2 video cards split into a 3 dvi splitter.

lol omg but I do! Remember 3 years ago I posted that I was going back to school in my 30s and drastically changing careers, went from sales/marketing to IT.

Just get a Radeon Eyefinity 6 card and then whatever else you need for the last two monitors.
