Wow, registration for me was on June 3, so I had absolutely no problems signing up. Then again, I'm taking 500 level Poli Sci and HROD classes, so if those had filled up I would have been p*ss fataing mad. On the bright side, this is the last time I'll have to do this! WHOOT!

Wow, I didn't know registering for courses at the UofC was that complicated. I am a student from Calgary but attending classes at the UofA and all of us are given a time when we can start to register and usually we have until a week into September to do it. Also we don't have to pay our confirmation deposits until a later date. Just a note! B-)

I got all my classes. However one was full in the day so I'll have to take it in the evening once a week. I bet that is when most of the hockey games will be too, that night.

Anyway, I have never seen a place that makes it so hard to spend your money at. The University is basically a business, and that is why they keep making cuts- you can't run your business int he red forever. Usually businesses like money. You'dthink that a place like that would be happy to take 5 thousand dollars from you without making your life a huge hassle. What do I know, I'm only going into 3rd year.

Wow. Thank God I got scholar's advantage. Woke up bright and early the first day to register. I thought it would've taken at least 15 minutes, but it took about 2. But it sounds like it will be a pain for me to register after my first year.

Being a grad student I don't register until September, and even then the courses are never full :P

Undergrad was pretty simple too, people dont exactly rush for the greek and roman studies hehe

I tried to get into a few and they were all full. I had to settle for a history as my option.

The beauty about browers such as Opera (yay) and Firefox is that you can have them refresh the page automatically ad infinitum so Infonet will never sign you out, the pages with your courses will always refreshing and open so you know in realtime when a slot opens up, etc.
