I remember liking Temple of Doom, but I don't think I've watched it as an adult.
I never did watch the 4th one, but I heard it was terrible.
I was pretty young when Raiders came out, but I recall that it played in the theatre for 6 straight weeks in the town I am from. There was only one theatre in the whole town. I'm not sure if it is because it was so good, or they just couldn't get anything else in at the time.

Temple of Doom just isn't very good. I'm guessing the people who like it the most also thought Return of the Jedi was the best of the Star Wars films.
I admit it does have some pretty cool scenes like the mine cart and the bridge scene that were already mentioned (the inflatable raft scene is a little too over the top).
I've got no beef with Die Hard 2. I love the first three movies in that series.

Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull is a fun movie, completely ridiculous but fun nonetheless, people are way to hard on it. Temple Of Doom and Last Crusade are both a little ridiculous also.
If there is a 5th movie I will watch it and probably enjoy it.

Crystal Skull is a fun movie until the last 15-20 minutes where it becomes awful and hard to watch.

It goes south way before that. The fridge nuke protection was ridiculous and every scene with Shia LaBoeuf in it is ruined by his inability to act. That whole movie just didn't "feel" right.

That whole opening scene was just brutal, the Nuke Fridge at the end was just the poop topping.
Considering it doesn't morph into an overblown CGI pussball ... yes, much more so.
Holy Grails, immortal Knights, disintegrating Nazis, Holy water healing mortal wounds, and temple a collapsing if the Gail passes the seal, that's a much more reasonalble ending. also welcome to the era of CGI.

Probably because the scene looked like ####, it was so overblown and awful and yes, the ending of Crusade was much better.
I'm in no way saying that KOTCS is the best of the franchise, far from it. It's just that I find a lot of complaints about it unfounded because they all have overblown and awful action sequences and all follow ridiculous story lines. That said I find them all enjoyable.
