Gotta find a way to be at least a little bit effective against good pitching...need to be able to at least scratch out a hit-or-two so you can try and manufacture something.

An error on a simple play and not being able to pitch out of it isn't bad luck, it's bad baseball.

Now the hitters are just flailing, not patient at all.

No-hitter through 6 for Ubaldo Jimenez.

Perfect game was broken up by the Rasmus walk.

Ya the jays are not lookng sharp out of spring training with the bat. Jiminez is hitting his spots but his stuff isn't unhittable by any stretch, he's digging deep and throwing 91-93 on his heaters.

It's bad luck for Morrow. You strike out a guy, 99 times out of a 100 JP makes that play, he's improved a ton defensively and made a great play in the opener. Bad luck for Morrow, he had yet to allow a hit up to that point.

Gotta start taking advantage here. At least get 1 guy in.

Umpire made a good call on Lind. He was clearly safe and good to see Lawrie take advantage.

Give'er Brett! Give'r!!! Great baserunning from the Jays (to advance K.J and Lind) prior to that outfield hit on the right field gap!!!! We're tied baby and I feel damn confident about our bullpen!

Nice to see Lawrie get his first hit of the season and a big one at that. Morrow hopefully has another strong inning left in him.
