Please keep us posted as soon as you are able and as soon as it is practical. Most importantly, I hope that you and your family receive some positive news soon.

Way to go, now get him sobered up and showered before you let his mum smack seven bells out of him, oh sorry having a bit of a flash back.

Seriously great news.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers. Stefan is home- we were all very concerned but he is with family.

We're all extremely relieved.

Happy for this ending for you and your family. I can only imagine what dark roads your imagination took you down.

Enjoy the relief.

Nice! This story reminded me of my cousin in Iceland who disappeared only to be found days later dead of suicide in his car in the middle of nowhere.

Nice to hear the great news!

Now that he is home and safe, I can only speculate is he cooking meth and disapeared for days and showed up in a 7-11 naked.

Glad to hear he is safe.

I don't even know yet- we're giving his immediate family (wife, mother, brother) as much space and privacy as they need and will be patient for any details.

I know there is some curiosity out there about what happened- but trust me it doesn't come close rivaling my own. All I care about is that I see him at my next family reunion, not a funeral.

Thanks again.

I wasn't following this story, but I'm glad to hear it ended up well.

When I saw the thread title Stefan is home, however, I couldn't help but think of this guy:
