Comparing what we have to the rest of the west...
Cant see Edmonton doing much this year with their changes.
Saskatchewan will also be in tough.
BC is still the leader, but injuries to key personnel can be the great equalizer
Calgary is unproven at QB and doesnt seem to have addressed its DF weaknesses.
The west has gone from the strongest division to the weakest IMO. We will see in a few years whether the major retooling will shift that power once again, but the east will be beast this year.

The west is young, the east is going with 3 older QB's.
I still thin BC is the team to beat, with Edmonton maybe being the worst. Who the heck trades Ricky ray for Steven jyles.

Lots of contract extensions going on. Does anyone know when Nik Lewis' contract expires?

Big day for Keon Raymond. He was also named the President's Trophy winner this morning.
http://www.stampeders.com/news_blogs/news/?id=4773
“It’s an absolute honour to be named this year’s Presidents’ Ring recipient,” said Raymond. “I had a chance to look at the list of past winners and I’m humbled to be on a list with Stamps greats like Henry Burris, Alondra Johnson, Dave Dickenson and Rocco Romano.”

All great choices imo. Time for a new stadium or they are going to run out of room on that wall for all the names.

I like Jeff Garcia, but he only started four seasons for the Stamps. Is that enough service for the Wall Of Fame?

I am kind of dissapointed that the Stamps re-signed Franklin. That means Parker's development will be stalled again. I was hoping for Parker gets more minutes.

Maybe but with the amount of injuries to our WR's the last couple of years I fully expect Parker to get some more time when the injury bug bites.
