Just finished the episode tonight. There seems to be a lot of annoying teams this year (for me at least). Between Brendan & Rachel, The Rednecks, and Joey "Fitness" & his buddy, I can't wait for each of them to be eliminated.

Tough break for the girls tonight. They must have had serious tunnel vision to not see Phil. I can't really say if I'm excited for this season yet. I'll give it another week at least.

I was pissed off to no end when the girls missed him, because that meant that the two d-bags wouldn't get eliminated. You're definitely right though, seems like a lot of annoying teams this year, more than usual.

Anyone else figure that one of the amazing race producers was blazing away at the bus with a pellet gun to add some suspense to the episode.

Neither challenge was all that awe inspiring today, it was almost like Amazing race for dummies.

Yeah assembling a solar panel doesn't exactly scream exciting tv. Neither does waiting for water to boil- although it would test your patience in the middle of a race.

Thoroughly disappointed in the performance of the twins. Those guys were straight up stupid.

Art and JJ are really dominating right now. It honestly looked like finished a good 8-12 hours ahead of some of those teams judging by how light out it was.

It would be nice to have a clock or something at the end that shows when people check in.

I mean it was pretty hilarious that the army couple even with a 2 hour penalty came in ahead of the last place team.

Probably smart that they used their pass though.

I thought that fighter pilots had to have amazing reflexes dexterity and hand eye coordination.

I wonder if this pilot still has training wings on his wobble jet.

There's a time displayed when each team starts the next leg.....it's exactly 24 hours from when they checked-in

12 hours, but yes, you are correct in that they display the time when the leg starts.

I saw on reddit that they sometimes have 8, 12, and 24 hour pitstops.

This season has been much better than last season was (so far anyway), mostly because the last episode was pretty good.

I can't believe the twins took that long to string a harp.

It's actually at least 12 hours, though usually it is that 12 hours it isn't always.

The challenges this past week were back to some of the borderline evil challenges they used to have.

I disagree with the use of the express pass. There was no need to use the pass when they did. There were still people doing the task and they were not in danger of being in last at that point. Using the pass when they did almost hurt them given they couldn't complete the next task and took the 2 hour penalty.

Good ending this week, I really like Art and JJ and Mark and Bopper. Two teams of good guys.
Also I really, really freaking wish Brendan and Rachel would go home. I don't care if they eliminate me at the same time in this pool, I will take it for the team.
