Well I just like scotch in general. The only one that I have tried and didn't care for was a Balvennie.

I cant remember having a scotch that wasnt okay, there are definitely some I dont buy because their quality just doesnt justify their price.

Oh right, forgot all about the Coal Ila that I own. Very nice scotch
Plus, it's from the Isle of Sky, which is neat to say

Did anyone else read this thread, look at the dates and kept going "how the hell did Locke get a day ahead of my calendar?!" And then proceed to check your computer calendar to make sure you didn't miss a day?
... Missed the 2012 to start the thread

Honestly, I'm a little ashamed and embarrassed that I have never ever heard of this guy or his day.
It wasn't until the bombardment by social media that I clued in. How sad.
I blame the public school system for my ignorance.

Here's a bottle and an honest friend!
What wad ye wish for mair, man?
Wha kens, before his life may end,
What his share may be o' care, man.
Then catch the moments as they fly,
And use them as ye ought, man:
Believe me, happiness is shy,
And comes not aye when sought, man.

I raised a few glasses to Robbie last night.
Oban 14, good stuff for a nice occasion.
