His weight though, looked at three different websites one lists him as 175lbs, one has him at 190 lbs, and yet the third has him at 200lbs.
I think he got fat sitting around for a year and not able to train.

Well the good news is that it looks like Wahl has at least picked up the pace with Hamilton, if the past 6 games are any indication (2G 3A 5PTS)

It's a shame that at the time Abbotsford didn't have a spot for him in the Top six. It's too bad, because with their decimated line-up I'd love to see what he could do with Kolanos. That being said, if him getting the time with the Bulldogs was what he needed to get confident again and the start the process of getting back to form, I'm all for this loan. If he keeps up the pace of the last 6 games then I think he'll be in good shape.

Put this in the Prospects thread too, but Mitch Wahl has been returned to the Heat.

interesting, I thought he'd be gone for the season. Welcome back Mitch!

Maybe the Heat can give him more ice-time now. Bouma is up with the bigs and it seems he won't be back in Abbotsford soon with all the injuries in Calgary. And with Nemisz and Rheault out, there should be a spot for him in the top 6, at least for now. Time to shine!

Anyone think maybe Wahl was originally part of the Cammalleri trade instead of Holland and he was leant to Hamilton for them to take a closer look? Feaster mentioned this deal was in the works since November?

so what's next for Wahl? Is he really back in Utah now? Just saw he has the red X beside his name on the AHL site, but not on the ECHL site, suggesting he is on Utah's roster right now ... obviously can't re-join Abby for the year (if I understand the rules correctly), so could another loan be in place?
