Secondly, McD's sucks at virtually everything, except coffee. For the run of the mill, under a toonie cup of coffee, McDonalds is from my experience, by far the best cheap cup nowadays. It beats the crap about of Tim's. Don't know why, it just does. If they could just figure out a cup/lid combo that doesn't f'n leak all over the place, it would be a damn near perfect cup of cheap coffee.

Pfft...Pike Place is putrid. I used to drink that stuff back when I was too uncultured to know what good coffee was. I'd tell you what I drink now but you've probably never heard of it because it's not mainstream enough.

Are you guys still arguing this? The barista pushes a button and the espresso is made; you're lying to yourself if you think them quickly warming some milk doesn't make it an automatic process. Not trying to devolve this into a coffee snob thread, but go to a real coffee shop that makes proper espresso and you'll see the real work that goes into each shot.

7-11's coffee is pretty decent too for a run of the mill cup. No drive through though, so McDonald's is usually where I go of I want a decent black cup of coffee.
