I don't like the way they managed the time here. They are giving the best QB in the CFL more time for a come back.

Having not watched a single second of the game today, I'd say that Tate would need at least 2 red zone picks with one or both coming right in the endzone on bonehead plays that could have easily been avoided, for him to qualify as having a Burris like game. Having numerous opportunities to run the ball and instead throw a stupid pass would help.

This is the team we all love. Imploding allowing cheap plays and taking stupid penalties while preserving a lead.

Two things though:

1) "Hot" Henry has been MIA since Aug... it's been all cold for the most part, and brutal cold for long stretches. Guy can't even run a proper QB sneak now.

2) Hot and Cold for a QB in his 2nd start of his career is excusible as he will learn (and the team is winning still). For Burris, hot and cold is just his MO - he's not going to learn anymore, and will likely hinder this team more than help them going forward.

honestly, it seems like every week the "prevent" defence that Jones uses costs us the game. What the effing hell.

Yeah, I'm seeing improvement from last week, that's all you want from a guy in his second start. The touch is there, he's putting the ball where he wants, just some bad reads and a couple questionable play calls.

Oh, game-saving shoestring tackle by claybrooks!

There it is. You need a 14-21 point lead with this team.

We need a touchdown here to win or it's over.
