Working in Asia I have met a good number of people with pretty strange English names. Some of these are ultimately endearing. Not all though. I once knew a girl who had named herself Euro because she loved money, and another girl who just called herself Money.

Lots Indian and South Asian names just don't translate well into English. I met a guy named "Herpy" before. I don't know the spelling, but that is how it was pronounced. I have also seen Sukmeat, Manmeat and Ramandeep before too.
