1990 Plymouth Acclaim.
I laugh at all these new cars with push-button starters. The steering column fried, so thanks to the Chilton manual I was able to rig something up. Had to flip a switch for acc, push a button to start, and the horn was an old doorbell (which melted driving down 17th in the first round of '04.
Not to mention that it had a Toyota-esque acceleration issues, and reverse only worked 3 days a week.
Despite all of its nuances, it got me around with little issue. Made several trips to and from my native Kootenays. Hockey/ski/camping trips all over.
How it passed the OOP inspection is beyond me.

1996 Chrysler Intrepid. Tons of power and still runs great... what a beauty.
Currently it's stashed in my parents' garage.

Bought my first car at the tender age of 29....a 99' Saab 9-3. She had her quirks, but a fun car nonetheless.

A 1992 Ford Aerostar....LOL. This thing was referred to as the "smoke wagon" back in high school. I used to get approached every lunch hour by kids wanting to sit in it and get stoned.
This was my favorite car I owned though, used to spend hours working on it. 1981 Grand prix brougham.

One of my best memories of childhood was taking a trip through Italy in one of these. There were 6 of us in the car....and me being the smallest one (bout 10), I had to sit on someones lap the entire way...my ass didn't touch the seat once in the whole week. Also remember having to stop at least once a day to fill up the car with water, as the engine kept overheating.
Good times.

The worst is when you see some kid driving some brand new Land Rover or BMW. What a waste....unless that kid has his parents buying him a car the rest of his life, chances are he has nothing better to look forward to. First cars should always be crap-mobiles, so you can feel the satisfaction of moving on up in life.

1993 Teal Green 4-cylinder Mustang. Man was that car a POS, but I loved it!
Wasn't the 5.0, but looked pretty much like this

Gotta love the teal on 90s cars, such a decade specific color. Love it or hate it, at least not every car was shade of gray like these days.

i bought my first vehicle in 1997 and still drive it today... my 89 chevy truck!
ahhhh - memories from the 90's...
then in 2004 i added the 6" lift, 18" rims, 35" tires.....
and two weeks ago added an updated front grille, head & turn lights.....
...and in the next couple weeks the interior is getting completely re-upholstered

1995 Mercury Mystique was the first one, my grandpa gave it to me. Drove that from about 2003-2008. Sold it for $500 to a family friend.
Then I drove my dad's 2003 Jeep Liberty for a year while he was living out of the country.
Now I drive a 2004 Chevy Cavalier that I bought for $5,300. It's up to about 188,000 km so I'll be looking for something else in the next couple years.

1983 Ford Mustang L... It was a good little car, had no options whatsoever. The only bad thing about it was the carburator... it just never seemed to work right. Not a good thing when trying to start it in -40.

You haven't lived until you've tried to drive off road in a car with bicycle tires on it.
