I suspect this will later come out in the trial as a possible motive. I find it odd that when the call came in at around 415 am that only the father was home and not the mother. Seems odd a mother wouldn't be home with her child at that time.

Why?

Growing up my mother was a nurse and worked nights almost exclusively for god knows how many years. She was rarely home at that time.
