i bought a bottle of beer in a bar. then i stopped at superstore liquour store for a case of beer. and then i stopped at my buddy's house and had one of his beers!
same beer, same brand, different prices!
discrimination! i want the price i pay at my buddy's house at the bar.

Sounds a little fruity. I hear tell of some just calling it Coke, no matter what brand it is.

The real issue is that you have to walk over to a liquor store to buy your booze.
You walk into a supermarket, one aisle is beer, wine is right next to it, then spirits, next aisle is pop, snacks and bags of chips. That's how it's done in the more civilized part of the world (also known as Europe).

A more worthy complaint about the Real Canadian Liquorstore is the fact they sell Big Rock unrefrigerated. I'll never buy it there again after getting skunky Trad. Its not worth the savings. Big Rock should not allow Loblaws to sell their beer that way.

Yeah, and Michigan. It's not civilized, it's normal.

Absolutely, it's discrimination. Price discrimination. They're charging more to people who are willing to pay more.

This thread delivers, unlike Superstore. DISCRIMINATION OF PEOPLE WHO ARE TRULY LAZY.

Unfortunately it's Big rock that delivers skunk. I got it through Co-op. Co-op sold trad and sold their "named" trad brewed by big rock.
Just so you know, ale is meant to be sold and cool temp but not as low as a refrigerator. It's crap like Canadian that makes us want it that cold. I drink mine basement temp.

Why would a liquor store sell pop in the first place?

Any unpastuerized beer should be kept refrigerated. As for serving temperature, that's strictly a personal thing. Maybe its my North American conditioned palate, but I like all my beers cold, ales included. I think I'm in the majority in that opinion.
