JUST SAY NO!

Worms was a disappointment to say the least. From a bad interface, to every game being laggy, to not enough options to combat the trolls, means I don't buy Team17 games again.

Haha, sorry. I'm sure you'll get some use out of it. I played quite a few hours before I gave up. I played a lot of forts and trolls seemed to be the worst there. I eventually had list of about 200 names as a 'blacklist' from either team killing, or quiting early.

Even worse... you could have bought it for $5 the day before.

Okay, the sale is over now. Now what is the damage done? $$ isn't important as most of the stuff on sale was dirt cheap.

I picked up the following during the sale...

Audiosurf
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (ugh)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Dark Messiah Might and Magic
Elvan Legacy (+ add-ons)
Magic, Ranger & Seige
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (+ add-ons)
Hammers of Fate, Tribes of the East

So six games, plus five add-ons. Really pleased with Audiosurf and Red Alert. Elven Legacy looks great but is pretty challenging. HMM5 crashes frequently, and C&C4 is as disappointing as was reported. But at least I can say I gave it a shot and played the entire series.

Some day I might actually play all of them... assuming I finally get through the other stuff from the last sale....

Civilization V
Mass Effect 2
Tropico 3

Less than $40 total isn't too bad.

Probably helped by the fact that I've been playing the free version of ARMA II, and spending too much time with Civil World on Facebook.

I decided to wait for the fall or Christmas sale. I'm too busy this summer to play games. I'll wait until winter when it is too cold to go outside!

I bought the Square Enix and Paradox packs. That brings me to over 230 games in my steam account. I think I have a problem.

So whats with Tropico 3? I feel like I've finished all there is to do in half an hour.

Have you tried the different scenarios? For a sandbox type game I admit it's not that deep, but the scenarios add new challenges that make it difficult to build a successful island.
