14 I think, could be plus or minus a few. I can't remember which ones I actually read and which I bought the coles notes for...

I'm not certain I understand the Margaret Atwood hate... I also find it odd that you would question The Handmaid's Tale being on this list but not A Brave New World... similar variations on a very common literary theme.

Similarly, I don't know what I would have done without Coles notes.

I had 26, which was much higher than expected. I guess I owe a big thank you to my school for making me read most of the 26. I think about 3 or 4 were actually by choice

The goalie?
He was more of an Englishman than a Russian.

I am also a fan of this list of books.
100 Must Read Books: The Man's Essential Library
Some real Russians on this one and a lot of Roosevelt for some reason. No list is perfect, I have a couple that I pull from.

And I have an English degree! I have probably read enough of the Bible to count as number seven, but cover to cover if I'm being perfectly honest it's six. And one of them, Charlotte's Web, I read when I was like 7. I've read more books by Solzhenitsyn alone than books on that list.

Better stop reading. I'm way too high for an Engineering Student.
