You mean a Honduran and the ref gave him a yellow card for diving.

One solution I would tell teams to do is to stop kicking the ball out of play for injuries. If the guys wants to roll around on the ground, his team can play shorthanded. If the injury is really serious, the ref would recognize it.

Tough to do..its the "code"...the ref doesn't have any influence to tell a team to kick the ball out.

Reminds me of this somewhat, although the intention here was to kick it out and over the net.

Not sure where to post this but looks like Canada drew England 2-2 at the U17 world cup going on right now. The goalkeeper scored for Canada on a free kick from his own half to tie the game at 2 in the 87th minute! This draw gives Canada its first ever point in the history of the tournament, and also the goal by the Canadian keeper was the first goalkeeper goal in a FIFA competition. http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/matc...823/index.html

Missed that, but that was a helluva goal by the US. Adu, to Donovan to Dempsey.

The final is a classic already.. 3 goals and 2 substitutions in the first 30 minutes.

US got off to a surprising lead but not surprisingly they gave it up quickly and Mexico wins easily.

i assume that ESPN has the WC rights as they seem to always pump up the US as being some sort of decent side and then make excuses for them when they inevitably crash and burn.

That last goal by Dos Santos was pure class. Unreal patience and even better touch on the finnish.
