Banning all of the idiots would do the same. Last I looked, five of the top eight Canuck fans in the playoff thread by posts were either lifetime suspended or in the sin bin. Suddenly, at the end, there are several April 2011 registration dates. Pretty good odds that the new registrants are the old bannees, I'd say. People who just aren't worth keeping around.

Or you could close new registrations until the Canucks are out of the playoffs.

Just attach a question to new registrations:

How many Stanley Cups does Vancouver have?

If they answer 0, they're a Flames fan. Let them in.
If they answer 1, they're a Canucks fan. Don't let them in.
If they answer any other number, they're on crack. Forward them to HF.
