Sorry to hear Cap.

I lost my dad to non-Hodgkins lymphoma; he was only 52. The morphine did help him in the end. When he was off it, he would just tap his leg like crazy to distract from the pain.
Then I lost my nephew to leukemia. They thought he just had Rocky Mountain Spotted fever at first.

I'm sorry to hear everyone's story, especially you Captain. It's unfortunate, but the anger expressed by some is part of the grieving process I suppose.

People do not seem to realize that all of medicine is probabilities. You come to the doctor expecting absolutes, but sadly, you will never truly get that until death.

Sorry to hear your news, Captain.

I lost my mother to lung cancer when I was 22 years old. She was only 53 years old. She never smoked in her life, never drank, ate well, had a active lifestyle. My kids never got to meet their grandma. I think about that often.

Cancer sucks and then some....
