I love this season so much, is it wrong to be so excited for a true man show?

My favorite scene with Illythia from that season was when she grabbed the chick by the neck(the chick who was laughing at her for banging Spartacus not knowing it was him). She smashed her face into the marble stairs like 12 times. When they exposed the dead girls face, her skin was falling off, the bones were out of place. One of the more gruesome visuals from that first season.

edit.....to hell with my recap of the scene, here it is.....I would embed, but there's a f bomb in the vid title.

EXTREMELY NSFW

Good scene, and I'm glad I'm over 18 . . . thanks youtube!

This show makes me want to beef up, then take acting lessons and then work out to build my muscles. Then offer my services for gratitude.

She's a gargoyle compared to Gaia. Otherwise known as Lila from Season 2 of Dexter.

Recent studies prove that watching Spartacus actually makes you more manly. Manly to the point where you can add Jupiter's #### to your regular vocabulary and not feel gay about it.

Seriously? Gaia is filthy and not even half of what Ilythia is.

But down to business, that season finale was awesome. Not as good as Blood and Sand's (but that is the best finale for any show in my opinion), but it was pretty damn good.

That last kill where he just explodes the guys jaw was nasty, the sounds of that thing crumbling as Gannicus ripped it open ooooohhh baby!

And it was nice to hear Whitfields voice again, even if it was just a little thing at the end. Sucks though, because now I am sad knowing he won't be back for the next season.

How did you see the finale already and thanks for the spoilers. I really didn't need to know that last part.

Maybe put a spoiler tag on that post for other folk.

Aaaaggghhhhh, my PVR missed the last few minutes and it's not replaying for a few days. Downloading right now.

The battle royal scene was awesome and as Justin mentioned, the kill with the jaw was unbelievable. Us talking about it doesn't do it justice, it's a must see.

That Jaw scene was freaking nasty. Yes, it looked nasty. But what got me was that grinding sound they played when it was falling apart, that was gross and have me quivering.

Now we have to go in withdrawal from the show, I'm already getting the shakes.

I must watch season 1 again.

I knew it! Gannicus did survive. Hopefully he'll be back for season 2 when the rebellion starts.

I could really go for a full replay of season 1 now.

Oh, and anyone who watched the prequel first and then season 1 is going to be pissed when they get to the very end with the spoiler about Batiatus and his wife. Although considering most people know the story of Spartacus it shouldn't have been much of a spoiler to begin with.

I hope Gannicus is back during the rebellion, I really like the guy who plays him.

Can't wait until season 2, sucks that the time between this and season 2 will be like 7 months.

Episode 1 of the prequel started at the end scenes of season 1
