Well I guess I am practically hooped for being type 1 , however it would be nice if something helped keep the Blood Sugar down or would make it to where I can take less insuling. I mean I try my best to eat good but a man can only resist a banana split so many times before he says eff it , I am having one . When my sugar runs high , thats not even the worst, the worst is when it goes low. I just feel horrible the rest of the day .

It shouldn't really be that big of a surprise. My brother in law owns and runs a big clinic in Calgary and he has guys come in all the time that try to push their drugs on him and the other doctors there with bribes.

He tells them to eff off. It does happen.

Pretty sure there are doctors who do take the bribes and prescribe that drug instead of a similiar drug.
what do these bribes consist of? as far as i am aware, the only "bribes" that pharmaceutical reps provide are free samples for patients (which are usually more expensive than similarly effective generics if available). also, they will provide honoraria for speaking engagements but to bribe a physician is illegal. they do try to influence their prescription choices, that cannot be denied.

Odd that you specifically target profit making drug companies, to distrust while all the while trusting the rest of corporate interests.

If I though it was that simple, because not every study is funded by a capitalistic venture, in face, a great deal of research is not funded by what you would assume to be the 'interest' groups/companies.

I know its hard to understand, but because a study you disagree with isn't funded by your mortal enemy "capitalism" doesn't mean some independent study by a university or non profit research group isn't trust worthy.

But faced with evidence and facts, not like you'll change your opinion, we all have learned this by now.
I am not against capitalism. Capital itself though, is becoming monopolized in America among the big corporations, who get tax payer bail outs to protect their profits if they do bad business.

Because of this, the too-big-to-fails (as they call them) have much control and influence and are in collusion with the government and their institutions (like the FDA, Fed).

I don't think the free market is really as free as advertised anymore. Again, too many giant manipulators. John D. Rockefeller (Standard Oil) was famous for saying "competition is a sin". The big business uses free market capitalism to gain vast wealth, and then use that wealth/power as leverage to manipulate government into consolidating/monopolizing and in case of the Fed, even institutionalizing their businesses.
This is the part of the source of my distrust.

My 10 year dog is taking EVA (Elk Velvet Antler) to help her with her arthritis - on the recommendation of her vet. Only her second month taking it and there has been some sign of an easing in her joints.
