I was all over Disaronno and Canada Dry last night. With a cherry of course.

My drink of choice (and has been for years) though, is a bourbon manhattan.

I first drank a Manhattan because of that Simpsons episode where Bart works for Fat Tony. Turns out I like it and have drank them ever since.

But I actually prefer a Rob Roy as my drink of choice which is basically a manhattan made with scotch instead of bourbon.

I might have been influenced by that too, but I would have been underaged, and kids should just say no to booze...*CBS Cares*

I have a few bourbons around my place. Bulleit for mixing (inexpensive and mixes well, nice kick) and anything above Knob Creek for sipping or the odd mixing. Eagle Rare is a fav of mine.
I hate ordering manhattans in bars/restaurants because they usually put them in a martini glass. I always try to get them to put it in a proper short glass for me, because if I want to flame it up with a big ol' glass, I'll order a cosmo...
